My career as an interior designer is a bit unconventional as it took me from being a student of languages in France, where I grew up, to the United States, where I became an educator and where I also discovered my true passion for interior (and exterior) design. But I believe the common thread between my life in France and in the United States is my love for people and my eagerness to provide spaces tailored to them. Coming from a family of "Do It Yourselfers", I have aways embraced the process of construction. But I was also fortunate to have worked for six years under the belt of a remodeling company, not only as a designer but also as a manager of my own projects. This experience allowed me to work hand in hand with the installers (well, I only held the paint brush a few times), and to embrace what works in construction and what does not.  And though I still learn something daily, I truly feel this experience allowed me to become a much more valuable designer. As far as aesthetics are concerned, I enjoy designing spaces that are not only beautiful but that are also deeply meaningful. I like to create environments that foster connections, inspire memories and that stand the test of time.
